The IAEA Education/Membership Board grants Working Towards status to those persons that are studying for Associate or Membership examinations.
It is a requirement of Working Towards status that the prescribed study plan is being followed.
Where the study plan is not being complied with, the IAEA Education/Membership Board can and will revoke the Working Towards status.
Where a person has had their Working Towards status revoked due to non-compliance of the study plan, and then wishes to reapply for either route, they will not be granted Working Towards status; they will be permitted to purchase learning material and study for the examinations, but Working Towards status will not be granted.
Under exceptional circumstances, the IAEA Education/Membership Board may grant an extension to the Working Towards status, however this is solely at the discretion of the IAEA Education/Membership Board.
