Solera Audatex offers its bodyshop image capture solution FOC
Free of charge to all repairers from May – September 2020, Audatex Bodyshop Image Capture (BIC) solution allows repairers to work and interact with customers, while social distancing, in a digital first, contactless way.
As the UK slowly begins to emerge from lock-down, communities and businesses are having to adapt to the new normal. Audatex BIC is an intelligent web application, delivering smart images that give the repairer valuable insight into the vehicle's condition before it even arrives on site.
Audatex BIC enables repairers to send their customers a SMS request for images of their vehicle's condition and damage, via their smartphone. Customers receiving an image capture request are guided by an intuitive online process to capture the required images, with no app download required. Upon return of images from the customer, the bodyshop receives an email notification and can instantly access the images provided via their Audaenterprisegold assessments or via the secure user interface, to begin triage immediately with increased accuracy.
Commenting on the announcement, David Shepherd, Regional Managing Director, Solera, "As we start to emerge from lock-down, we expect to see a gradual increase in volumes across our market. We know the road to recovery will be far from easy for many of our customers. As we all need to adapt our working practises, to keep our team members and the public safe, we will be working in a new socially distanced, responsible way. We hope that by offering all our customers our Bodyshop Image Capture solution completely free of charge for the next five months, we are giving them the necessary tools and support needed to navigate through the next phase of this global crisis."
