CAPS claims analysis report for week ending 29 May, shows fall of 1% in unique claims
CAPS claims analysis report week ending 29 May 20 recorded that unique claims fells back 1% after previous week's increase.
Supply chain transmissions also fell back by 1% (parts, mobility, systems transactions).
This is the second time in four weeks that has seen a surge followed by a plateau or minimal fall. It suggests that claims conversion is in line with limited resource availability.
CAPS reports that bodyshops appear to be processing claims into WIP, evidenced by the increase in supply chain messages tracking the unique claims percentage.
However, in some regions there has been a marginal increase in claim activity from the previous week:
