CAPS claims analysis report for week ending 29 May, shows fall of 1% in unique claims

Slight fall in claims last week

CAPS claims analysis report week ending 29 May 20 recorded that unique claims fells back 1% after previous week's increase.

Supply chain transmissions also fell back by 1% (parts, mobility, systems transactions).

This is the second time in four weeks that has seen a surge followed by a plateau or minimal fall. It suggests that claims conversion is in line with limited resource availability.

However, in some regions there has been a marginal increase in claim activity from the previous week:

  • North East: 1%
  • Republic of Ireland: 1%
  • Scotland: 1%
  • South West: 1%
  • Wales: 1%
