AQP Training & Exam 12 April

AQP Training & Exam 12 April

Do you need to take the AQP competency assessment ahead of the 1st October deadline?

A training day is being organised at the The Firs, Whitchurch (HP22 4JU) on the 12th April 2019, following the training attendees will be able to take the assessment. Subject to sufficient demand the cost is expected to be £175 per person (including the exam fee).

What will the day involve?

The training will focus mainly on the general industry knowledge and is designed for those who meet the requirements of the AQP definition in terms of experience and training. The session will refresh knowledge on all areas of the syllabus although there may be some topics that will update knowledge.

Before the session attendees are expected to read and understand the code of practice, the session will provide for an opportunity to ask questions on the code and test knowledge rather than provide specific training on this area of the assessment. There will also be some discussion around application of the code to salvage categorisation case studies.

At the end of the day candidates will be take the assessment under exam conditions.

What do I need to do if I am interested in attending?

Please contact ali@theiaea.org if you would like to reserve a place on the training on the 12th April.

If there is demand we will book further training days, so please get in touch if you are not able to make the 12 April but would like to be notified of any future dates.

All attendees must have submitted their application form and paid the relevant fee before attending the training, there is no time restriction between submitting the application and taking the exam, so we encourage you to submit your application asap if you have not already done so. Full details of how to apply and the application form are on the website.
