IAEA Awards Dinner Dance 2019 hailed success

The IAEA are excited to announce the success of its Awards Dinner Dance held at Pendley Manor, Tring on 23 November.

Attendees were welcomed to the venue with pre-dinner champagne before being escorted into the Harcourt Ballroom for a delicious three-course meal.

Promptly after dinner Tony Simpson, IAEA president, congratulated the award winners on stage with their plaques and trophies.

Congratulations to the award winners Adrian Clements (George Bates Award); Paul Cowperthwaite (Audatex Award); Martin Bates (Dudley Hewitt award) and Jessica Sevellec, Aude Valnet and Craig Holt (Jimmy Budd award).

Next on stage was Jason Moseley, Plenham Ltd, CEO, as the VIP speaker of the evening, where he discussed his personal history with the IAEA, the industry at large, and the future role of the engineer.

To end the evening, many were brought up to the dancefloor to the music from band Evolve.

Overall, the Awards Dinner Dance proved to be a successful evening filled with great networking opportunities, fantastic food and the chance to honour the award winners.
