NWVA helping bodyshops deliver cars safeguarding technicians

Like everyone in the country, NWVA are looking to do their bit to ensure that the vehicles of key workers are able to be repaired swiftly and returned to the road.

However, staff safety and the safety of those at the bodyshop is also paramount, so NWVA are now being used by bodyshops to deliver courtesy cars and collect damaged vehicles. This ensures that in line with the social distancing regulations, two bodyshop drivers are not required to undertake this activity.

MD of NWVA, Mick Jennings, said 'While everybody in the supply chain is trading through this extremely difficult time, safety of the entire population is key to emerging from this crisis successfully. We consider ourselves as the fourth emergency service adding bodyshops to our list of customers which includes breakdown clubs and a number of police forces.'
