Drivers will use the Plugsurfing mobile app to search for, access and pay flexibly at charging points close to home as well as on journeys across Europe. This will eliminate the complexity of having multiple accounts, apps and payment methods for each of the hundreds of charge point operators (CPOs).

The Plugsurfing App will provide clear and transparent pricing for each charging point, support in-app or contactless payments, and allow users to review their charging and billing history. This eliminates the guesswork and unexpected costs that are often synonymous with public charging. Advanced filters and personalisation tools will allow users to see real time availability of chargers, and find chargers that are compatible with their car, routes and budget.
Plugsurfing is a bold advocate for the sustainability goals of EV drivers. Making public charging accessible, affordable and transparent to drivers with varying charging needs is key to enabling a sustainable transition to electric mobility.
Plugsurfing's v6 App was built based on user research. Continued co-creation with users ensures that the voice of the driver is present while designing and refining features. The app highlights the importance of transparency and sensible design, when connecting its users to the growing network of public charging.
