He holds several automotive and insurance qualifications and an MBA in International Business. He has served on the Irish Regional Committee of the IAEA since 2010 and has been a Council Member since 2015.
Prior to taking on the role of President, he also held the Finance Officer role. In his spare time, he enjoys restoration of classic cars and motorcycles, spending time with family and friends and continuous learning.
After 20 years as a Motor Engineer Assessor Gary was promoted into the Motor Engineering Management team where he spent 7 years and was responsible for a team of Engineers. Gary also represented the insurer on various committees including Thatcham's Engineering Technical Committee (ETC).
Gary is now employed by a large company who specialise in automotive coatings and consumable, distribution, accident repair, technical training, audit, engineering, software and estimatics technology.
Gary is passionate about the role of an Engineer Assessor and has always been an active member of the IAEA London Region having served on the committee on several occasions and is currently Regional Chairman.
