The UK's largest independent car retailer, which has a network of branches across England, Scotland and Wales, rolled out the complimentary service in March 2020 in response to demand from customers.

Over the last 12 months dedicated teams from across Motorpoint have been busy taking to the roads to deliver thousands of cars and light commercial vehicles free of charge to customers up and down the country, travelling the equivalent of almost four times round the world (or 97,000 miles) during this time. This has included driving as far north as Wick near John O'Groats right down to Helston close to Lands End in Cornwall.

And, since the start of the current lockdown, Motorpoint has been delivering a vehicle direct to a customer's driveaway at the rate of one every six minutes*.

Amongst those to take advantage of free home delivery during the latest lockdown is Stuart Smith, who lives in Redcar, a short drive from the company's newest branch in Stockton-on-Tees and was looking to celebrate his wedding anniversary in style with a new car.

Every vehicle is checked by experts from Motorpoint and comes with the balance of manufacturer's warranty (or six-month Motorpoint warranty) backed by the Motorpoint Price Promise. This means Motorpoint will refund the difference to any customer within seven days of their order if they find the same car cheaper from a competitor.
