OEC becomes IBIS Global Summit Gold Partner

The event, which takes place 15 - 17 June 2022 in Monaco, will welcome over 350 influential delegates from many sectors in the repair industry, including insurance, fleet, and manufacturing

Leading technology provider for the aftersales industry, OEC, has joined automotive leaders from across the industry in becoming a Gold Partner of this year's International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) Global Summit, at Le Méridien in Monaco.

The three-day event aims to bring leaders of the global auto collision repair industry together for a face-to-face networking event, where bodyshop technology and vehicle repair solutions will take full focus in a series of plenary assemblies and conferences.

IBIS is the world's only global collision repair market conference provider, delivering market analysis and facilitating debates with industry stakeholders. It helps find solutions to issues faced within the sector, including supply chain challenges and reducing vehicle repair times.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Damon Milne, Trade and Collision Director at OEC, said:

"Here at OEC, we are delighted to be working with dealers, manufacturers, fleets, distributors and repairers to improve time efficiency and profitability for workshops and bodyshops. Therefore, we are pleased to be supporting IBIS in bringing the industry together through this fantastic event and working together to celebrate the ongoing efforts of our colleagues and partners in the vehicle repairs sector."

Furthermore, the summit will feature a packed agenda with guest speakers from across the globe, including Guillermo Lopez, Vice President of Strategic Accounts at OEC, who will be joining the first panel session to discuss the industry's journey to date, and how it would develop in the future.

Lopez commented: "I'm excited to be joining a panel of such highly influential leaders to discuss what is happening in the collision repair industry globally, signs of recovery post pandemic and what the future holds."

Founded in 2001, IBIS advocates for safety, skills and standards in the vehicle repairs industry. The organisation has held events around the world over the last 20 years, with the Global Summit now attracting over 350 influential delegates, representing every major market, including insurance companies, vehicle manufacturers, multi-site collision repair operators (MSOs) and associated businesses.

The summit will be held at Le Méridien in Monaco between 15 and 17 June 2022.
